Today I was outside poking around a pile of wood and getting some very interesting textured photos of the weather worn planks and logs. This end of one of the planks in particular caught my eye. I loved all the ridges and the shadows they caused. I liked the black and white on this photo because it helped enhance the contrast between the shadows and highlights more than the original grays and browns.
