Day 68

I was taking some pictures of this tree that was blooming on my way back from the library today. The flowers smelled even better than they looked.

Day 67

This weekend I was up at the Iowa State University campus for a livestock judging contest. I was walking around and decided to climb up onto this little walkway that ran the entire length of the hall three stories off the ground. It was a little terrifying looking over the edge at the ground so far below.

Day 66

This pine tree/bush is outside my local library, and today when my mom and I went there I took some very interesting photos of its needles and the fascinating textures.

Day 65

I was up early again today to photograph the early morning dew. This tree in particular had a lot of perfect droplets on its leaves. I was working on taking photos with shallow depths of field.

Day 64

Spring is definitely here, and I've been taking lots of photos with lots of green. Here's a plant growing in my grandma's flower garden that was particularly interesting to me as I don't really know what it is.

Day 63

This morning I went out and was amazed by how much dew there was on everything. I took some macro photos, and was again surprised by the details I'd never noticed before. For example, in the photo above there's tiny hair like fuzz on the clovers. I think the many different depths of field in this photo and the water droplets make this one of the more interesting macro photos I've taken in a while.

Day 62

This is a close up photo of some grass in my grandpa's yard that is growing in a puddle after some recent rain. I like the bright vibrant colors in this photo, and especially the texture and depth the water adds.

Day 61

 I took this picture of the bridge yesterday. The water is super high, and is only a few feet from the bottom of the bridge. Hopefully it will go back down soon.

Day 60

It rained all night last night, so this morning everything was wet and it was really foggy. On this photo of a tree branch I painted black and white on so the brilliant green color of the leaves would stand out.

Day 59

Today it was really overcast all day. It only really rained for a few minutes in the afternoon but when it did it came down hard. I went out and took a few pictures, but few turned out the way I pictured. The rain coming down so quickly made them all look slightly blurry.
